Akash is an Indian born investment Banker brought up in New York.He is very passionate about his work and his entire life revolved around it. His parents got divorced when he was just 8 years old and since then his grandpa took care of him.But after his grandfather's death, his only aim in life was to work work and work.After the market crash, when he lost all his clients, money and house, he thought he had nothing to look forward to in life and hence he wanted to kill himself.Akash is a quintessential nice boy.He is emotional and gets attached but never gave himself the chance to fall in love because he never took out the time for anything besides work.After  he met Kiara, he realized that he can fall in love and this film is a journey of that love story.

A girl with an Indian soul, but with an outlook of someone who has been brought up in San Franciisco.She is spunky yet shy, crazy but still balanced. Kiara had a protected childhood and lived with her family in San Francisco.A perfect life is what she had. A loving family, some close friends and a fiance cum best friend who loved her immensely.But when she suffeers a huge heatrbreak, her world comes crashing down.To run away from this she moved to New York,away from everything she was comfortable with.With a tough 'I-don't-care -about-the-world' exterior, she nurtures her broken heart, but is unsuccessful.So she decides to end her life, until she meets Akash.Kiara is fun! she is mad!
