IG is an action movie wherein Suresh Gopi dons the role of I.G.Durga Prasad, While on duty he discovers Hawala netowrk and soon realizes that a terror plot is being planned to blow up the city of Trivandrum. An Anti Terrorist Squad(ATS) is formed with Durgaparasad as its head. He immediately picks up his hand chosenmen and after the regualr investigations discovers that the man behind the terror plot is Skaria Zachariah (Ashish) who is behind by Beeran Kutty (Saikumar), Subair (Vijay Bhaskar) the DGP(Devan) and also the Chief Minister (Rajan P Dev). How Durgaprasad puts an end to all takes the culprits to Justice, forms the rest of the story.
