Synopsis:

Aditya (Akshay Kumar), an automobile engineer in a car company, is a passionate about cars as Shakespeare was about writing. Not only is he an engineer, but also a test driver for the company. Aditya is engaged to Sonia (Bipasha Basu), a fashion designer about to make her mark in the field. As individuals, Aditya and Sonia were not on the same page.Aditya goes to canada where he by accident meats Jia (Katrina Kaif). After several unexpect meetings they become friends. Jia was a simple girl with simple needs. She had got everthing she could ask for in her childhood, but never time from her ever so busy father. In Aditya, Jia foudn a friend. Jia and Aditya managed to spend time with one another and with time, their frienship grows. With passing of time, both realize when that they love one another. But a misunderstanding with Aditya and prior commitment Jia leaves, leaving Aditya in pieces. But destiny had it meant for them to meet one more time. Were Aditya and Jia meant to be.
