Synopsis: Mrs. Malhotra gives birth to twins, who get separated due to some unforseen and unfortunate circumstances. Shocked and traumatised Mrs. Malhotra is confined to a wheelchair. Quiet and mature Prem, one of the twins, and his dad return to India together with Mrs. Malhotra to get Prem married to outgoing percacious Mala, daughter of Sharma. Here Prem meets with his twin brother Raja, a very outgoing youngster. Raja loves the quiet and mature Roopa, and both the girls are confused by the change they perceive in their respective lovers. They often end up with each other's man.
